THIS YEAR’S CELEBRITY CHEFS

What’s on?

We may be a Food and Drink Festival but we’re community focused too and we’re keen to support not only local food related businesses but other groups and organisations from across the region.

We have exciting plans for this years programme of events. Top chefs from pubs, restaurants and hotels across the region will prepare a range of culinary delights for you and share some of their knowledge through a number of cooking demonstrations taking place during the course of the weekend.

Some of the chefs will be offering book signings once they have completed their demos.

Dogs at the festival

There is a seasonal dog ban on Porthminster Beach where the Food & Drink Festival is held so we are unable to allow dogs into the main site. However, we have set up a dog friendly area on a grass area very close to the festival entrance with water bowls, stakes for tethering, tables & chairs. You will get a hand stamp as you come on the festival site and then you can come and go throughout the day.

About the festival

With breath-taking views, white sands and turquoise sea to rival even the most idyllic of tropical islands, visitors to the area could be mistaken for thinking that they had stumbled upon paradise. Located at almost the southernmost tip of the British Isles, St Ives boasts of big skies, spectacular coastal walks and enchanting harbours: what better way to celebrate the landscape in all its glory than a festival promoting all that is great about the region’s natural resources?
